Savee Masks Reviews

I have tried a few masks from Savee and in my opinion, I do not think it is right for me EXCEPT for one that mask I LIKE! For me, I prefer essence that is thick and rich but certain masks from Savee products are watery and it makes the process a little troublesome because it drips everywhere and makes it hard for me to relax and enjoy. I personally think that, most of the paper mask is a bit too thick except for the SILK face mask which is really thin and the essence is good. I am just going to do review on the mask that is the best and worst for me.

No offense this is just my honest review on this mask from The Face Inn series. The paper mask is quite thick and it doesn't stick to my face well, I have to constantly readjust the position to expel the air bubbles and the essence is watery. I couldn't deal well with this mask =( The effect from using this mask is not obvious. My skin would feel refreshed after putting on mask, BUT this mask doesn't want to work its magic on me.

Next, is the sleeping paper mask.

This is mask is quite okay. The essence is like clear aloe vera gel and again the paper mask is too thick for my liking.

Here comes my most favorite mask from Savee. The Nose mask that I would give 5 stars to this.

The nose mask!!! Usually our aim when using the black mask is to pull out those nasty blackheads! This mask is amazingly different from other black mask is because it is very very sticky. I think this is not suitable for those with sensitive skin because of the adhesiveness to the skin is very strong.
It is almost like playing with industrial glue but a lighter version.

This is quite disgusting but it does pull out most of the blackheads and facial hair. No threading needed to remove facial hair. I did this mask once a month and not just on the nose but the whole face because to use up one packet i got to smear it everywhere on my face. LOL

Overall, Savee mask brings no harm to my skin. I would definitely repurchase the nose mask and would recommend to everyone except to those who have sensitive skin.

Cheers.

SAVEE masks

Hello people, it has been a while since my last posted something. Anyway, Happy Chinese New Year to everyone! Here's a sneak peek of what's coming up for my next post...a review on SAVEE masks!! For your information, Savee is a beauty brand originated from Singapore. I got to know this brand through Cosmobeaute ( a beauty fair held in PWTC ) and they don't just sell masks, they have a variety of beauty products from hair care to body lotion. I heard from somewhere that their mask is quite good, so I thought of giving it a try and we will see how good they are.

Note : I know this amount of masks might be a little too much for some. I freaking bought 14 masks at once.

SAVEE products can be purchased at 1st Avenue in Berjaya Time Square. To be honest with you, I kind of feel a little bit hesitate to buy their masks because one mask only cost RM1!!!!! I mean I have been using this Taiwan 'My Scheming' ( can be purchased at Watsons, love their hydrating mask!) mask brand which cost me around RM 6-7 per piece? So, I was quite shock? But, since it is from Singapore...I guess the quality wouldn't be that bad?

So, hopefully this is another great product that is worth to invest! Till then...

Malacca Food quickie...!!

Malacca is more than just a historical place for me because I get to eat good food. LOL Ditch the mind set of just visiting sites and looking at vintage buildings. Scroll down and you will know why ;) Forgive me for being forgetful about the details, it has been a few weeks :x

First stop for lunch. You have to queue first!

Ignore the fact that it's messy, it has pleased my tastebud.
 cute little rice balls.
Next, we were up for Nyonya laksa and Chendol @ Jonker 88, cool thing about this museum cafe is they have a website www.jonker88.com and classic songs.
Colouful and me likey!!! I was having a hard time choosing from these...

These are called chendol and I thought it was called ice kacang? hahaha...
Curry laksa or better known as "kahwin"?
Nyonya laksa =)
I love this the most! Coconut shake special ( by the name"special" means added with a scoop of vanilla ice cream)@ Klebang. The pure fragrance of coconut in your mouth is remarkable plus you will get to chew bits of  coconut meat :)
The famous mille crepe by Nadeje. It won't be official if you didn't stop by for mille crepe in Melaka.

Original flavour

Right after that we went to try out "satay celup" @ Capitol and as you can see they claimed to have ONLY ONE shop and no other branches.

Clean surface before the war started hahaha
yummeh~
this is what you will end up with...a really messy table.

So, that's it! It was a wonderful day with lots of food and a really full tummy! ;) and it was even better when I have that special someone to go around with me. Thank you sooo much!

Hi-tea @ Hilton K.L

Finally I am blogging...LOL What a lovely Sunday to go for a hi-tea session with the ladies! I went to Hilton Kuala Lumpur to try out the food there. Overall was not bad actually, ambience was good. The food was pretty good. Love the fresh seafood.

Here comes my first plate of food. I didn't have my breakfast today, I was trying to push against my limit!
A bread + a lil' bit of mutton + vege + seabass....etc.
Next, sushi plus "tako" slices.
Heard them saying the pasta is a must eat in here, and yeah I saw people queuing up by the counter. My mum ordered this squid ink pasta. Good but not salty enough, it's close to tasteless tho.
Seafood were all fresh! No funky smell or taste. thumbs up!
Hey mussels...*wink

Oh...dessert time!!! Oh la la~

 Ice-cream anyone?
OMG....chocolate fountain!!! Sexy~
Now, there are two different work of art here. One was done my by sister and the other by mum. Respectively. XDD

=)
Surprisingly these were good!!!
I have no idea what this is...I am sure it's not panna cotta LOL It has strong vanilla scent and I like it.
Last but not least, the group photo. Thanks to the guy in black suit for helping us.

Eat out : Albion KL

Helloooooo! I know the official Father's Day celebration was last weekends. I made it even more special by celebrating it today!( giving myself an excuse =P). I found out this cool fine dining place called Albion in a magazine. It was featured as a must visit restaurant that serves you only real and authentic British cuisine. I was tempted by the environment actually. I was expecting it to be a huge restaurant but the camera angle that took the picture fooled me. It was a small and lovely place, my advice is to always book tables before you go. =)

So sorry for the bad quality pictures, I used my handphone to snap it, so yeah bad lighting you get bad pictures. Stupid me!!! I did not use my camera!!! uuugggghhhh...Anyway, there was only three of us dining ( not much dishes we could order though because the portion per plate was BIG?)
It was featured in Calibre magazine!!!
Start off by eating some buns while waiting for the starter...

Starter : Greek style salad, pretty good believe it or not I kind of like the sour taste of the Kalamata olive.

Main course 1 : Slow roast pork belly! Their famous dish with caramelized apple sauce. Special indeed.

Main course 2: Pan fried Grouper with mashed potatoes.

Main course 3 : Seared tuna steak. I can tell you it's awesome. I ate the whole thing! The meat was cooked to perfection...Yum!!
Dessert : Mango Panna Cotta. From that very moment I tasted the creamy mango panna cotta with passion fruit sauce, I was blown away. IT WAS TOO GOOD. Might be the best I have eaten so far. I wanted to order more desserts but we all have small tummy. =(

 Lastly Happy Father's Day!!! Enjoy!!!
